Go Lightning!

We have grown to love Hockey at our house and this will be our second year as season ticket holders.  Preseason started last week and we were ready for the action! The first game was Wednesday and the second was Saturday with the kids.  T loves the games and was hitting the glass like a real fan on Saturday night.  It is such a fun game to watch...so much action and energy, not to mention to be in a building with temperatures below 72 degrees! The players were out to sign autographs and give there fans support here are some of the Photos from the two nights.

It is going to be a great season and now I need to figure out how to scrapbook about it. Cheers!

My Handsome Dude

Back to school, my little guy is in 1st grade I do not believe it! He is so cute and he has grown up so quickly. I enjoy him more than aything I have ever experienced. Such a little charmer full of life and cool little thoughts and ideas.  He woke up this morning and ran to me (at 5:45) joyus about being a first grader.  That was day one of first grade....on to day two, he woke me up saying he really had to go to the bathroom and had the runs :( The super mom that I am i gave him some Pepto and said you will be fine.  The school nurse called at 1:30 and sure enough, he had a temp and an upset stomach. Ok maybe he was sick....I thought he was just nervious. Opps. We are surviving...and he is already starting to feel better.  Here are a few photos of day one! Cheers.

Seven Random Things about Me

I was tagged by Nikki a few weeks ago to blog seven random things about me....so here I go

1. I spend all day on the phone and hate talking on it

2. I am a secret techie

3. I love sitting on the beach with my ipod and could do it all day

4. I won best dressed in High School and still feel like it is something I have to live up too!

5. I am really geeky, clumsy, and snort when I laugh (but anyone who knows me knows that!)

5. I secretly want a job as a DJ with headphones and a mixxing table.

6. I always having a song in my head (my very own soundtrack to my life) it makes me crazy to sit in silence and the right music/song makes everything better

7. I probably go through 10 packets of Splenda a day...I put it on everything even my salad or eggs

Back on the Bloggin Train

I am once again motivated to start blogging....however not sure if people will visit me since my frequency has been so poor! Lots of exciting happenings, school starts tomorrow for Titan and he will be in 1st grade! Enjoying every last minute of the summer this weekend....soaking it all in! Here is a summer collage I made in Photoshop. 

 

It all goes by so quickly. I am trying to enjoy every minute and not melt in the heat.  Off to do some excercise before it gets too hot.

New Years greetings

I was going to start off my post apologizing for not posting and by saying how busy i have been....BLAH BLAH BLAH! Whatever, nobody cares. But...life is good and things after the Holidays are getting back to normal. I have been thinking about not blogging this year but we will see....I am going to be switching the theme of my blog more to photography.  I will still post some LO every once in a while.  Last year I was on 3 design teams and it was really important to me...but I am down to just one at my local store K2.  I am teaching some classes booking some photo sessions and enjoying life and wonderful friendships.

I am in LOVE!

I am soooo in love with my new camera! The past couple of days I have been able to play with it.  The feel of it is amazing. I also got a 75-300 zoom lens that is so cool!  So I will just post the photos for now!

It is a great life!

I am so blessed.  I am so busy! This is usually such a slow time at work for me. but this year I am so busy....I have more new business than I have had in six months! Wow! But I am taing on day at a time.  Next week we head off to North Carolina for a little relaxation and I am really going to need it.  We will be playingin the snow and skiing with another couple and their children.  I am ready to hit the slopes, play with my new camera! (Hubby got me the new Canon XTI and 2 lenses) I have had it for days and have not yet taken a picture (I can not believe it!) I will bring it to the K2 party tonight and break it in a little :) I was taking a few minutes to myself this morning and saw K2's blog and my friend Jocies LO of us......ok she is so awesome and reading it made my day I am so blessed! I love you Jocie!

Stuck at Home for the Holiday

  Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving....ours was great.  Titan got sick on Tuesday night (stomach Flu) so we were up most of the night with him. I let him rest while on Wednesday morning I joined my ultra organized friend Jocie for preparations of side dishes and deserts for the big day...

That ended up being a great life saver on thanksgiving day! Our meals was beautiful and we had a great time.  Titan was starting to feel normal.  Aside from Jayson locking the oven door shut with all of my side dishes in it. (SO FUNNY!) He had to use a crow bar to get it open! The diner went off with very little stress and was very tasty!

So all is well....until late thanksgiving evening I ended up getting the stomach flu myself!  I was up all night running to the john. and then all day on Friday! It was terrible timing because I was headed out at 6 am Friday am to meet my mom and begin our shopping tradition.  You know its bad when I pass up shopping.  I am feeling better but am sick thinking about the great deals I missed.  Perhaps it was a way to loose some weight and save some money.  Although I am sure I will make up for both!  Cheers and hope you are all having a great holiday!

October Chill

A quick post....to update.  Our crop for the Cure at K2 on Friday was so fun! I am so lucky to have such a great place to hang with he girls.  We made a store mascot "Margeaux" and after we photograph her for an ad she will make her rounds to do a circle journal about her.Her are some photos:

It has been so nice and cool here finally! 55 degrees in the morning! Makes me so happy!

I am going with some girls to Guns and Roses tonight...how funny is that! And here are this months LO's for Scrapmailbox:
